West Virginia Wesleyan University won the Humanities Grant

Buckhannon 11, West Virginia Wesleyan University, nonprofit humane organizations to receive grants from one of the West Virginia Humanities Council.

Wesleyan University's Master of Fine Arts residency Visiting Writers Series has won a $ 3,500 grant in 2013.

West Virginia Humanities Commission awards major funding twice a year, in order to support the educational programs of the humanities. Augusta Heritage Center of Davis and Elkins College, West Virginia University Research Corporation also received grants.

The next major funding deadline is February 1, 2013. The main funding was awarded to request more than $ 1,500 to $ 25,000 per project. Feb. 1 is the deadline of the Humanist Association of West Virginia Grants Program. $ 2,500 scholarships, awarded annually to the humanities teachers or scholars in support of the West Virginia Humanities Research and Writing Project.
