The "hollow grants WV Humanities Council

The documentary in McDowell County residents living around the project has received from the West Virginia Humanities Council grant.

Hollow, an interactive documentary project, obtained a $ 20,000 grant from the West Virginia Humanities Council Board of Directors media, according to a news conference.

The project will use the stereotypes of the area, population losses and the potential future of interactive content. It will be launched in the spring of 2013.

Elaine McMillion, project leader and her team in the entire summer shooting locations, interviews with the residents of the county leaders and workshops.

The project raised $ 28,000 online, from the TFI New Media Fund and other currencies. Tribeca Film Institute also select projects awarded grants in August, according to the release.
